028 – Why You’re Wrong About Jordan B. Peterson

By | April 18, 2019

Why is there so much hate for University of Toronto Professor and Clinical Psychologist, Jordan B. Peterson? From the countless hours he has uploaded on his YouTube alone, to his Biblical series, his classroom lecture recordings, all the way to the many interviews and live talks in front of hundreds of people he has undertaken, it makes no sense that the media and a certain group of individuals consistently like to paint Peterson in the wrong light.

Is it because of a few comments he has made? An overall objective he is focused on? Or is his strong character and intellect too overwhelming for people to debate, understand, or reason with?

On this episode, I explore why I believe Peterson is seen in the wrong light. In doing so, I try to provide an unbiased discussion surrounding his motives, his character, and his knowledge.

True, he has said a few things that can be taken out of context or seen as confusing provided the entire discussion is not witnessed, but for the most part, the 30+ year acting professor and clinical psychologist has the knack for helping thousands of people out. Which is why we can see his recent book sales (12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos) peaking three million copies, and his first book, Maps of Meaning, sitting comfortably with a notorious bestseller title that has influenced various individuals, ranging from atheists to theologists.

What do you think though? Are you offended by Peterson’s work? Or, do you love the information and advice he constantly preaches? I would love to know how you perceive this entire story. Let me know down below in the comments section. And, as always, thanks so much for listening in.
