This episode is definitely one of my more heavier ones. In it, I discuss the book The Tattooist of Auschwitz written by Heather Morris. In doing so, I talk about the holocaust and the concentration camp in Poland known as Auschwtiz during World War II. I also talk about the main characters in the story—Lale and Gita—and what it meant for them to go through living hell and come out the other side, some of the standout scenes and elements of the story that really affected me, plus more.
I would love to know what you think of this discussion and if you have either travelled to Auschwitz, Poland, and/or read the book. You can let me know on my website pernosophy.com, or by hunting me down on social media: @haydenperno
Thanks so much for listening in. I hope how I told this story and discussed some of the devastating events gave it justice. I’ll talk to you next time.
